The Classic Gobi Desert Adventure is a 9-day overland journey through some of the most spectacular landscapes of southern Mongolia.

Starting in Ulaanbaatar, we travel deep into the Gobi through the granite formations of Baga Gazriin Chuluu and the striking White Stupa of Tsagaan Suvarga before reaching the vast landscapes of the South Gobi.

Walk through the dramatic Yolyn Am Valley in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountains, cross the open desert to the magnificent Khongor Sand Dunes, meet a local camel-herding family and experience the traditional nomadic way of life. The journey continues to Bayanzag, the legendary Flaming Cliffs, where some of the world's most important dinosaur discoveries were made.

Rather than simply visiting the Gobi's famous landmarks, this journey gives you time to experience the scale, silence and changing landscapes of Mongolia's desert region.
