Guests can see demonstrations of traditional migration, livestock herding, dairy processing, felt making, archery, folk music and everyday ger life. The official programme also includes traditional food and drink tastings, Mongolian games and demonstrations using ox carts, camels, horses and other traditional forms of nomadic transport.

After the cultural programme, enjoy a traditional Mongolian lunch before continuing toward Hustai National Park.

Hustai is internationally known for the successful conservation and reintroduction of the Takhi, also known as Przewalski’s horse. These rare wild horses now live freely within the protected landscape alongside red deer, marmots, Mongolian gazelles and numerous species of birds.

Visit the park’s information center and continue deeper into the protected area by vehicle and on foot. Depending on the season, weather and movement of the animals, your guide will help locate Takhi herds and other wildlife.
