MONGOLIA ULTIMATE MOTORCYCLE EXPEDITION

Experience Mongolia from the saddle on an unforgettable 10-day motorcycle expedition across approximately 2,100 km of open steppe, remote desert tracks and legendary landscapes.

Designed for experienced adventure riders, this fully supported journey takes you far beyond Mongolia’s main roads, combining eight days of riding across gravel, hard-packed steppe, rocky terrain, desert tracks and occasional sand. From the moment you leave Ulaanbaatar, the landscape opens into the vast, seemingly endless spaces that make Mongolia one of the world’s great motorcycle destinations.

Ride south across the steppe to the granite formations of Baga Gazriin Chuluu before entering the Gobi and the spectacular White Stupa cliffs of Tsagaan Suvarga. Continue through desert plains toward Yolyn Am, where a dramatic mountain gorge cuts through the Gobi Altai.

From here, the expedition reaches one of its most memorable stages: riding remote desert tracks toward the immense Khongor Sand Dunes. Meet a local camel-herding family and experience sunset over one of the Gobi’s most iconic landscapes before continuing across mixed sand, gravel and hard-packed trails to the red sandstone cliffs of Bayanzag.

The route then turns north through increasingly remote wilderness toward the ruins of Ongi Monastery. As the desert gradually gives way to greener steppe, ride into Mongolia’s historic heartland and reach Kharkhorin, the former capital region of the Mongol Empire, with a visit to Erdene Zuu Monastery.

Your final riding stage crosses Central Mongolia back to Ulaanbaatar, completing an extraordinary journey across some of the country’s most varied terrain.

This is a fully supported motorcycle expedition. Dedicated 4WD support vehicles carry luggage, water, tools, spare parts and emergency equipment, while an experienced motorcycle guide, mechanic, drivers and local expedition crew support the journey from start to finish.

The expedition is not a race. It is about the ride, the wilderness and the freedom of crossing Mongolia by motorcycle.

Previous motorcycle riding experience is required. Riders should be comfortable on unpaved surfaces including gravel, loose stones, hard-packed desert tracks and occasional sand. Daily routes and distances may be adjusted according to weather, terrain, track conditions and rider safety.
